Bed and Breakfasts the Best of Both Worlds
A bed and breakfast is a cross between a home and a luxury hotel. A bed and breakfast usually has four to ten rooms rented out while hotels have fifty to a hundred. Personalized service and home cooked breakfasts is the trademark of bed and breakfasts.
You will often find the owner of the home and B & B mingling with the guests as if she or he were one of them. Profit wise, a hotel would earn more as they have more rooms rented out. A bed and breakfast business‘ profit range varies depending on how many rooms are available for transients. The more rooms occupied the more profit a B & B makes.
