If you get snails in your aquarium and you don’t want them there, here are a few tips that will help you get rid of snails in your tropical fish tank. There are actually a few fish that will eat snails such as the clown loch or skunk loach. If your tank is smaller than 30 gallons, however, those fish are a little large for the task. In that case look for yoyo loaches as they’re a smaller breed of loach. There are also chemicals that you can purchase at your local pet store or tropical fish store but those can be hazardous to everything in the tank including your prized fish.
