If you desire a simple and natural look, you can still wear eye makeup.  The only requirement is to keep it light.  What does this mean?  Use no more than two complementary neutral shades of eye shadow.  Keep the lighter shade as the base coat and add the darker shade thereafter, blending it into your eye crease using circular motions with your brush.  Apply dark brown eyeliner from the inner to outer corners of your eyes and top it all off with one or two coats of mascara to your upper and lower lashes.  With this look, you will see that wearing makeup does not have to be extravagant.
