Green Tea has been an increasingly popular health drink the past few years. However, lately wu long tea has stolen some of the spotlight.  Green tea, wu long tea and black tea all come from the same tea plant, but the difference is that they are oxidised for different amounts of time.  Green tea is high in catechins and low in caffeine, while wu long tea is high in polymerized polyphenols.  Green Tea has much medical value and the least caffeine content of all the Chinese tea classes.  Green tea has the longest history of Chinese teas and still has the largest output and variety today.
