I have to be honest.  When I think of Bruce Campbell, I still think of Evil Dead and him fighting zombies with chainsaws.  Not that it’s a great movie, but as far as 80s b movies about zombies go, it’s the best you’re going to find.  So on Burn Notice it’s taken me a little time to take the Sam Axe character seriously – I’d take him much more seriously if he were fighting zombies.  Anyway, I do admit I like the Bruce Campbell Sunglasses he wear.  He’s worn a few but I think the most common ones you’ll find him wearing are Persols.  Of the main characters in the show, those sunglasses are actually the cheapest and will only run you about $150 or so.  (Cheap compared to the ones worn by Michael Westen’s character or Fiona’s new Oliver Peoples). 

We were so excited to finally be able to retire.  We had been planning our big move for almost two and a half years.  It was going to be a huge transition for us.  We were moving from our sixteen hundred acre ranch that required all day service and a lot of hard work, to a senior retirement living community with all the bells and whistles.  We were finally free.  After moving in, we were greeted with lots of new friends.  The opportunities for fellowship were endless.  We felt so good about having time to get to know people.  Our previous ranching occupation did not allow for this.

I am thinking about getting life insurance. Although term life insurance is one of the more popular kinds of life insurance I don’t like the whole idea. Although I’m quite young, I wouldn’t end up paying too much and I would be covered for the next few months – as long as I’m able to pay for it – I just don’t like it. The reason is I won’t get any money out of it if I end paying for it without dying and I don’t think I’d like that.
