IGAL members are recruited after undergoing an extensive process involving scrutiny and professional checks including peer feedback and recommendations. Members submit a detailed application form and an on-site visit are conducted by an IGAL director or long-standing regional member. The selections process ensures that all member firms are capable of a high standard of work. The members have a basic requirement that the firm representatives such as accountants bridgend are able to speak and correspond in English (being the global language). This is in addition to the local language. IGAL members are required to attend regular meetings to build on the professional and personal rapport. IGAL organizes an International Annual Conference which is held in various locations throughout the world. In addition to this mid-term meetings are organized and various activities are held.
